Classifications Offered

CCS Home Study will prepare you to pass the California Electrical Certification.

» General Electrician (8000 hours)
    Qualified to work on commercial, residential and industrial projeCCS.

» Residential Electrician (4800 hours)
    Qualified to work on residential projeCCS.

» Fire / Life Safety (4000 hours)
    Qualified to work on fire / life safety projeCCS.

Eligibility Requirements

» Only applicants who have the required experience are eligible to take the certification examinations.

» Successful completion of approved apprenticeship program in the classifications for which certification is sought.

» On-the-job electrical experience - constructing, installing, maintaining electrical systems covered by the National Electrical Code.

» All applicants MUST PASS a written examination as established by the DAS for the type of certification desired.
