Contractor Courses Offered

CCS Home Study will prepare you to pass the following California Contractors Licenses.

C-10	Electrical
C-7	Low Voltage Systems
C-16	Fire Protection Contractor
C-28	Lock & Security Contractor
B	General Building

To Qualify
The State requires 4 years experience in the past 10 years in the trade that you are applying for as a Journeyman, Foreman or Supervisor. Also accepted are apprenticeship programs, technical experience, owner/builder experience and any SELF-EMPLOYED EXPERIENCE!

State Examination
The State exam consists of two parts: the LAW and the TRADE.
You will be scheduled for an exam approximately 3-5 months after receipt of your State Application. Exam locations are throughout California and are assigned by closest zip code per your State Application.

You can legally perform work on projects with a combined value of $500 or more (inclusive of labor and materials)
